Over 1,400 people participated in the Rewards program launched in December 2019; 10% weekly growth in Linen App downloads

Hey Linen App community,

It has been one month since we launched the Rewards program on Republic.

Rewards Program (Republic Sharedrop) Updates

Over 1,400 participants took part in the soft launch of the Rewards program in December 2019. The Rewards program entitles members to earn future equity in Linen App for free. The main launch will be in mid-January 2020 – very soon! We definitely were not prepared for the influx of participants and had to fix several things along the way 😉 Now, we are better prepared for the main launch.

We also received 130 applications for Linen App Ambassadors – almost 10% of all Republic campaign participants want to be more involved with Linen App. Incredible interest! We have not structured the Ambassador program yet because we want to do it together with our community. Some of the ideas we are kicking around include:

  1. Early access to new and premium features

  2. Free premium features

  3. Limited-edition cards

  4. Linen App swag

Product Updates


Linen App Downloads Growth: average ~10% per week


We are inviting our most active community members and those who invited friends using Invite Codes and Invite Links to beta test Linen App. Beta testers’ feedback is critical to bug fixing and reprioritizing our feature releases. Thanks a lot for inviting your friends and spreading the word about Linen App.


The Android version of Linen App is waitlist only at this time. We want to make sure that the iOS version has all the necessary features and works properly before we release the full Android version for beta testing. Many of our supporters expressed interest in early access to the Android version – we made a note of those people and will give them early access.

We fixed the Google account synchronization issue on Android for the most part. However, a handful of members are still experiencing issues with synchronization. We are working on resolving this and will notify you once that is fixed.


A few members could not locate their bank or credit union in the list of supported financial institutions in Linen App or had issues with connecting their bank account. Bank connection issues can happen for numerous reasons, but the most common are outlined in our Knowledge Base. We are working on a solution that will allow participants whose banks are not listed to connect them. We will notify those participants promptly.
